  • In the wheatbelt town of Hyden

  • in Australia's Golden Outback,

  • Sculptures on a dusty main street,

  • near the old railroad tracks

  • created with scraps of iron

  • tell stories of farming hardships

  • in a sunburnt land Down Under.

Hyden is out in the middle of nowhere. According to website: Population is a little less then 500. But they have wonderful community spirit and this was one of their projects to "attract" tourists going to Wave Rock to spend time and money in the town.

I Love them all. I especially like Hayden's First Power Station. The girl in the skirt is fun to look at and the guy with the bicycle is going to give me a ride! My husband should do this when he retires from his welding job.
